All The Children's Station staff are trained in early childhood development and meet or exceed state requirements. We have certified Medication Adminstration trained staff on site. Most of the staff are first aid and CPR trained and are required to keep their credentials current. All staff have been fingerprinted and cleared by both the New York State Department of Criminal Justice and Central Register of Child Abuse & Maltreatment.

Mary Ann Hansen is founder and owner of The Children's Station. She was awarded 2014 Director of the Year by the Dutchess/Putnam Childcare Council. Ann is MAT certified and holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in education and is a New York State certified teacher.

Diane Millar has been the assistant director since 2000.  In addition to her committment to the children at the center, Mrs. Millar shares many of the administrative responsibilities. She is MAT certified and has been working with young children for 30 years.

Patricia Bonatto has been a staff member since 2002. She cooks the meals, prepares the snacks and is an aide in all the classrooms as needed.

Lynn Shinkaroff is the Preschool 3 year old teacher. Lynn has been with The Children's Station since 2004. She has 26 years experience working with preschool children.She has attended 3 workshops at The Bank Street College of Education. Lynn has developed a truly special understanding and rapport with children, recognizing each child's learning style and individual requirements.

Victoria Piazza has been the music instructor since 2009. Victoria is a certified Music Together teacher.

Julie Gonzalez is the Toddler teacher. She is MAT certified and holds her CDA. Julie has been with The Children's Station since 2011. She has been working with children for more than 20 years.

Giana Flocco is the Infant Room lead teacher. She came to The Children's Station as an intern from Westchester Community College in 2013. Giana's initiative and energy with children encouraged us to hire her as an assistant. Giana holds her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Rose Roytman is the Preschool 4 year old teacher. She holds a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and has 13 years experience working with young children. Rose joined the staff in September 2018.

William Capalbo is a Toddler room teacher. He is working toward a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education. William joined the staff in October 2018.

Samantha Graczyk is the Toddler teacher assistant. She joined the staff in October 2019.

Kristine Fanzo is the Infant room assistant. She joined the staff in February 2020.
